Good news for all the Taj lovers, ONGC has taken the monument under the ambit of the ‘Clean India Campaign’ launched by the Ministry of Tourism. Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders of the world and is a World Heritage Site. The Archaeological Survey Of India (ASI) has accepted the proposal of ONGC for adopting five more monuments under the campaign including the Golkonda fort at Hyderabad, Red Fort- Delhi, Ellora & Elephanta caves-Mumbai and Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu. The campaign which is a part of the 12th Five year plan of the Government of India aims at improving the quality of service and environment around the various tourist destinations in the country.
